ABOUT OUR SCHOOLS

We come from different countries and different schools but we all want to promote the trend of reading and the awareness of the European democratic identity. We believe the internationalization through European programs such as Erasmus + may be generated in our schools. We want our students to build Europe through the pleasure of reading broadening their knowledge of literature and culture.


Let's all get the Europe we want through the books we share!



Spain - IES Enric Valor is the only public high school of Castalla, a city located in Alicante, in the Valencian Community. It has about 400 students aged from 12 to 19 years and 55 teachers. The school has invested in strategies aimed at providing teachers with resources for the implementation of active methodologies, the use of ICTs as a teaching resource, as well as
inclusion in the European Dimension through Erasmus + projects and experiences of eTwinning. The school is the coordinating center and the expert in debate. The coordinator created the etwinning BRCE project and its participation in the Debate League of the Xarxa Vives universities and the oral expression workshops will contribute to the project.

Portugal - Agrupamento de Escolas de Soure  (AES), in the Coimbra district, is a public school located in the municipality of Soure. AES promotes children, young and adult education of different levels, with a total of 1442 students and 234 educational staff. For its participation in a successful network of school libraries it is the best to lead the library challenge.

Italy - LLS Bruno Touschek is a public school with 1200 students aged from 14 to 19 years and 90 teachers. It is a scientific secondary school, situated in Grottaferrata, a small town, about 20 km from Rome, in a green residential area in the so called CASTELLI ROMANI.The mission of our school is to provide nurturing and challenging environments that emphasize democratic values, cultural diversity and social inclusion. Among the pedagogical priorities, we consider internationalization one of the goals to be achieved by our students, for this reason we foster any kind of cross-border projects. We also believe that the contact with international teachers can contribute to improving the quality of teaching, through the exchange of the best practices. Liceo Bruno Touschekis the only center with KA2 experience and expert in eTwinning, this center will coordinate oral expression

Turkey - Hatice Güzelcan Anatolian High School is in Bornova, Izmir. It was built in 2001. There are approximately 850 students in our school. Different kinds of projects such as eTwinning, Unesco and Erasmus + are conducted in the school. The students are very eager to meet new friends and participate in international projects. In the project the school coordinates cultural heritage activities for their richness and variety in cultural and natural resources. It will also create audioguides.

Poland - XX Liceum OgólnoksztaÅ‚cÄ…ce is a secondary school in the very centre of Cracow, located in a historic 100-year-old building. It is said to be a modern school with a long tradition.  XX Liceum cares about its friendly atmosphere and promotes responsibility, open-mindedness, awareness of the education value. There are approximately 800 students in the school. XXLO has experience in conducting international workshops and students are enthusiastic about participating in various cultural activities. In the project the school is responsible for creating the website and dissemintation.
