A visit to the school
All the partners were greeted by the head of the school. It was a warm and friendly welcome. Each partner school presented briefly their school and the city they are from. In spite of the different backgrounds it turned out we all have a lot in common.
Reading Flash Mob
During the lunchtime students prepared a surprise for the whole school - z reading flash mob. It was interesting to listen to the parts of our book read in different languages by both students and teachers.
Sightseeing in Soure
Thanks to the Portugese hosts, who prepared interesting audioguides, the sightseeing of Soure was a great experience.  We saw a castle, visited local library and were even welcomed by the authorities in the town hall!

Roman Ruins in Conimbriga
The day started with an excursion to wonderful Roman site. The extensive and wonderfully well preserved Roman ruins were a great spot to have a stroll in.
University of Coimbra
We were all impressed by this the oldest university of Portugal. This World Heritage Site definitely made our day with its astonishing architecture, breath-taking library and amazing chapel.
Walk in the streets of Coimbra
Coimbra is a city energised by the large student population. Charming streets invite for a walk. It was a good end of the nice day.

A day at school
It was a working morning. Teachers had a chance to do jobshadowing and exchcnge experiences while students took part in the classes with their Portugese partners.
Sport is fun
There's time for studying and time for...sport activities. All the students went to a great sports centre for the whole afternoon. A wide range of sports to be chosen for, a lot of energy and cooperation - we had a good time.
Staff meeting
While the students enjoyed themselves at the sports centre, the coorodinators and other teachers shared their presentations and discussed future mobilities. It was a very effective meeting.
We were happy to finish the working day at the fado concert in Coimbra tasting the Portugese specialties.
day 4

At the castle
With the sun in the sky there was no better way to start the day. First, a short trip to the Castle of Montemor-o-Velho and then a visit to salinas and a walk along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
Debate time!
The focal point of each mobility - debate! The representatives from Turkey, Poland, Spain, Italy and Portugal discussed the book Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close. Streaming live on You Tube the debate was followed by other students and teachers. Congratulations to all the partners! All teams were excellent and it was a pleasure to hear all the opinions.
Sharing our cultural heritage
All the partner school had an opportunity to give presentations on their cultural heriatage. There was a bit of poetry, singing, sightseeing and tongue twisters :)

It was a time to sum up the exchange, time for evaluations, certificates and of course, time to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Portugese hosts :) Thank you!
Lello Bookshop in Porto
What an impressive bookshop it was! With wooden bookshelves, curved stairs and the magical atmosphere it was difficult to leave the place.
Time to say goodbye
It was an emotional farewell. The whole week was the enjoyable, unforgettable and eventful time. With new friends and great memories, it was time to say goodbye to each other.
See you soon in Poland!
